Workstations
Represents the locations or equipment where production activities are carried out.
Data regarding the operation cost, rent, electricity can be stored here.
To access the Workstation list, go to:
Home > Manufacturing > Bill of Materials > Workstation
How to create a Workstation:
- Go to the Workstation list, click on New.
- Enter a name for the Workstation.
- Under Operating Costs, enter the following as applicable:
- Electricity Cost
- Rent Cost
- Consumable Cost
- Wages
- Save
Purpose of a Workstation:
- To define where specific production tasks occur.
- To calculate costs based on workstation usage.
- To monitor capacity and avoid bottlenecks in production.
- To schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
Workstations Types:
If users have the same types of multiple Workstations (Machines) and users want to auto-assign jobs to the available workstation based on workstation type then this feature is the good option for them.

Home > Manufacturing > Workstation Type.
