Workstations

Represents the locations or equipment where production activities are carried out.

Data regarding the operation cost, rent, electricity can be stored here.

To access the Workstation list, go to:

Home > Manufacturing > Bill of Materials > Workstation

How to create a Workstation:

  1. Go to the Workstation list, click on New.
  2. Enter a name for the Workstation.
  3. Under Operating Costs, enter the following as applicable:
    • Electricity Cost
    • Rent Cost
    • Consumable Cost
    • Wages
  4. Save

Purpose of a Workstation:

  • To define where specific production tasks occur.
  • To calculate costs based on workstation usage.
  • To monitor capacity and avoid bottlenecks in production.
  • To schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.

Workstations Types:

If users have the same types of multiple Workstations (Machines) and users want to auto-assign jobs to the available workstation based on workstation type then this feature is the good option for them.

To create Workstation Type, Go To:

Home > Manufacturing > Workstation Type.
