ZATCA Reporting Error Due to Arabic Company Name in Simplified Invoice

The issue happened because the company doc name in your system was in Arabic,as shown in the image and ZATCA didn’t accept the invoice when reported.

However, when you changed the company name to English, the invoice was successfully reported. This suggests that ZATCA's system expects the company name in English, at least for QR code validation in simplified invoices.

ZATCA's QR code contains important details like the company name, VAT number, and invoice amounts. If the name is in Arabic, their system might not recognize it properly, leading to an error. Since the problem was fixed after changing the name to English, it’s likely that your ERP is using the company name directly from its records in the QR code, and ZATCA requires it in English.

To avoid this issue in the future, make sure the company name is stored in English in your system for invoice reporting. If your business needs to keep the Arabic name, you might need to check if your system can switch between the two formats for different purposes.
